New Year’s Resolution; Read More - My 2012 Reading List
So here we are in 2012, how did that happen? Well, my New Year’s
resolution is to read more. Now, you
probably think; what, she’s a writer I bet she read loads, well erm, that’s not
as true as I would like it to be. I’m a slow reader, due to my Dyslexia, and
when I read a book I have a relationship with it. For the duration of time I’m
reading it, I enter into that world, and if it’s a good read then my life stop
as and all I do is read.
So in 2012, I’ve decided I’m going to aim to read a novel a
week.
So where do I start. Well, I could start with my TBR ‘To Be
Read’ pile, which is ever increasing. Writing and having writing friends means there
is never a shortage of book recommendations that I MUST read. Also, getting to
know new writer friends means I also want to read all their books so my TBR
pile is truly ever increasing!
My current TBR (To Be Read) Pile! Not including books like
Candy Gourley’s ‘Tall Story’ which I’ve yet to acquire!)
On top of my TBR pile, there is my wish list / shopping list
of books that are coming out in 2012 that I really want to read…

Thanks for sharing your list. I posted about 2012 releases last week in hopes of hearing about more awesome books, so I was happy to find someone else doing the same thing!
ReplyDeleteIts always good to hear what other people are looking forward to reading, or recommendations of good reads. Do we have any of the same book on our list?
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Sally.
